A journey concludes

31 days on the road. I had ridden 6,000+ miles from Florida to Newfoundland and back. I traveled through two countries. I had the motorcycle on the Auto Train. I went back to my beginnings and rode through Brooklyn, NY. I took 7 ferries, two of which were overnight. I went through 4 Canadian Provinces and about 14 US States. Lots of roads were traveled, through cities, towns, villages and a wide array of landscapes. I connected with many interesting people and their cool stories. A full range of weather, road conditions, and accompanying emotions were experienced. It was a rich wonderful experience!

One Ongoing Journey Continues

Two great journeys completed this year. Part 1 - 50 days at 50 years old across the US. Part 2 - the Newfound Man goes back to the beginning and then to Newfoundland. Almost 18,000 miles ridden on these two journeys. I’ve had the feeling of having “arrived” and yet there’s always the need to keep going, traveling, exploring, and evolving. The journey is more than traveling through time and space. It’s more than going places. It’s an endeavor of the soul. Whether I’m physically on the road or metaphysically. Where the “One Journey” takes me next, well that’s something I’ll have to contemplate and let happen. One ongoing Journey continues.

Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road.
